Its yellow tufa walls are steep from the sea and sloping down steadily to the city, presenting an enthralling combination of different leveled landscapes over the coast. 

Other main attractions of interest include, Donn'Anna Palace and the magnificent baroque Villas; the caves of the underground (caves made of tuff from the Roman period); the Crypta Napolitana, where Virgilio's tomb is placed; and the many urbanistic elements of Pizzofalcone, that represent the continuity of the ancient Greek acropolis. Parco Virgiliano, the “Garden of Remembrance”, is a park offering amazing views of the Bay of Naples, from Cape Miseno to the Sorrento Peninsula, as well as the island of Procida, Ischia and Capri.
